Visa and Passport Information for Ethiopia

Except Kenya and Djibouti nationals, visas are required for all visitors to Ethiopia. All participants coming from countries where there are Ethiopian embassies or missions will be expected to obtain their visas there. Ethiopian embassies can be found at

Participants coming from countries where there are no Ethiopian embassies or missions are requested to send, as soon as possible, the following passport details to the Congress Secretariat at

1. Full name
2. Nationality
3. Passport number
4. Date of birth
5. Date of passport issue
6. Date of passport expiry
7. Photocopies of the first 3 pages of the passport
